No, I don't recommend handling your Bluebirds
without good reason. Thankfully, Jenny is acting more like our camera expert! You can see her pictures on the
HOME page of eggs and babies. This is a good picture of what the baby bird actually looks like. We normally would
just see lumps of almost feathered bodies, heads and beaks.
Jenny's was the first nest box in our
Project, to be used to breed in, time after time, on her Trail. That same box, is still used year after year.
Now, I hear that other boxes on her Trail are being used.

BOB WEPPLER - MONITOR |
Bob was the Monitor for two Trails, M 8
1-5 on State Rd 70, and M 9 1-11 here at the River Club Golf Course. No signs of Bluebirds have ever
been found at either Trail. Bob made our predator guards, and cranked them out with perfection!
The predator guard is the Ron Kingston guard, and
I like to say it is the Ron Kingston Predator Guard with the Bob Weppler Modifications.
Bob will always be, a huge part of the success to Christy's Bluebird
Project. The dozens and dozens of Predator Guards he made, were just perfect and actually beautiful. Those guards
now are, and will be, for years to come, helping to protect our areas breeding Bluebirds. Bob Weppler is a Great Bluebirder!
